Jonathan's mother passed away on Nov. 19th. She had colon cancer that spread to her liver and lungs. She fought the cancer for two years before, passing away from complications caused by it. We had my mother-in-law's funeral on Monday Nov. 24th . It was such a beautiful service with beautiful music and talks. Each of her children spoke and even her husband shared with us. All of her siblings sang "Come thou Fount of every Blessing" They did a beautiful job. The spirit was strong at her funeral. We love her and miss her. She was a beautiful woman and a true follower of Christ.

I'm so sorry about your MIL! What heartache. We lost David's dad 6 months ago and we're still grieving, even with the wonderful knowledge of the plan of salvation. "Come Thou Font" is one of my favorite songs...and is on my funeral instructions as well!

Thank you Marilyn. This really is a sad struggle for us to cope with. It has now been 6 months since her passing but, I feel like I need to add that, I was short with this blog post because, it is too painful and personal to really share. Although, some of our cousins wrote some beautiful things about her passing in their blogs.
